Fiction 150:

Design Your Own Novel Program

  • Average Time Commitment per Week: Self-determined
  • Time to Complete Course: 4 - 26 Weeks
  • Difficulty (1-5): 5
  • Course Description:

This program may be started at any time.
All programs are designed to help you complete the first draft of your novel.  For revisions, take advantage of our novel workshops.

You may post comments, suggestions and progress reports here. In addition to the class board, you may also use your WVU Study Group for posting.

When posting, use the module codes at the beginning of your subject line each time you leave a message. For example, if you are in the Fast Track Program and you are reporting on your research progress for the day, your subject line might look like this:

FR7 - Long lines in the library today ...

If you are giving page counts in the Standard Program, it might look like this:

SW7 Knocked out 18 pages and I'm not even tired ...

The number in the module codes is for month you began the program.  By using the module codes, searching is easy. We have a great search engine on site; it searches every word! So if you'd like to see how writers are handling their research in other groups, simply do a search for FR7, SR7, ER7. You will have a subject-heading link to every message meeting your criteria. You could narrow the search down to library research by entering FR7, SR7, ER7, library.
