Comedy 101: Comedy Writing  Part 1

  • Course Description: Learn to write comedy -- even if you're not  funny!  Learn the elements of a comic situation and how to use the tools of comedy: Clash of Context, Tension and Release, The Law of Comic Opposites, The Wildly Inappropriate Response, and the Myth of the Last Great Idea. Discover how to create comic characters and the different types of comic stories. Find out how  comedy uncovers the truth of the matter and more.
