Business 142: Blockbusters

  • Average Time Commitment per Week: At Student's Discretion

  • Time to Complete Course: 3 Weeks

  • Difficulty (1-5): 3

  • Course Description: Blockbusters are, in fact, individual exercises designed to break through the blocks that occasionally plague all writers. If left untreated, such blocks may become so prolonged that they eventually encourage the writer to abandon a perfectly good idea, or work-in-progress.

Notwithstanding typical arguments against writer's block, i.e., that it is simply a matter of procrastination, self-indulgence, poor planning, or the writer's attempt to 'mystify the whole business of writing', the end result is the same.

Blockbusters are designed to be good battery chargers. They invite some form of Motion & Change, which is the only viable solution when the problem exists in a writer's head.
