Business 129 Opening Hooks

  • Course Description: Whether you open with a love scene, mystery scene, danger scene or anything in between, you must hook your reader within the first two or three pages. Without the hook or the lead, you've already lost your reader. Whether you're writing fiction or nonfiction, you only get one chance to reel the reader in. You'll learn to develop conflict which is 'interesting, attention-getting, and dramatic.' This course is intended for all genres, including nonfiction.
